Betongpark are proud to be part of the Hackney Bumps community group who have volunteered over 1500 hours to turn one of the oldest skateparks in London into a thriving hub of the UK skate scene.
Utalising new concrete treatment techniques, Betongpark have lent tools, expertise and early mornings to grind and polish the weathered concrete surface into a smooth ridable park.
Since finishing the polish of the park, Betongpark have working with Hackney Bumps to deliver DIY builds to make use of every use pocket of the space. A continuously growing project, we expect to be back soon…

Every local community should feel ownership over their skatepark. That’s why at Betongpark we always offer our clients the opportunity to invite local people to get involved in the construction process.
We offer paid positions for construction apprenticeships, as well as community DIY days where locals can learn the skills needed to keep the skatepark looking fresh for decades to come.
We provide the gear and know how, if you provide the hours.
DIY workshops
Betongpark was born out of DIY builds and this ethos still rings true to our work today.
Our team are well equipped to offer workshops teaching the basics of design and construction on tight sites and limited budgets.
Working with local councils and community groups, Betongpark are able to deliver a one-stop-shop to transform abandoned spaces into landscapes to bring people together.

Education
The future of UK skateparks is in the hands of the next generation!
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to work with councils and other design companies to deliver free workshops covering the basics of design and construction for young people.
Ranging from the fundamentals of design, to the realities of construction with skate schools thrown in between, Betongpark workshops are fun and valuable opportunities for young people to gain an insight into a future in the construction industry.
Consultation
We see consultation as more than just a tick box.
As passionate riders ourselves, we enjoy having the chance to talk to local users of our skateparks and ensuring their vision can be catered for.
Our bespoke consultations cater for every generation of rider. We come with all the materials and passion needed for an engaging public consultation, from custom sticker packs and site plans for younger riders, through to 3D models and material samples for the more trained eye to input on design.
Betongpark designs have local communities at their heart, and we are committed to working alongside rider right up until the concrete arrives on site to make their visions a reality.
